Dumplings filed with meat and sauerkraut served with red wine, streaky bacon and thyme sauce
Ingredients
The product needed for this recipe: Polish Dumplings Filled with Sauerkraut and Meat150 g streaky bacon
1 onion, medium
3 cloves garlic
300 ml semi-dry red wine
35 g butter
1 tsp flour
a pinch of thyme
seasoning: salt and pepper
Cooking method:
Dice the bacon, onion and garlic and fry in the butter. When almost cooked, add red wine and thyme, and continue for a further 7 min. Thicken the sauce using some of the wine and flour. When ready, serve it hot with cooked dumplings.
